Overview

The purpose of the Lake country horsemen is to make people understand the common usage of the public lands for the recreational purposes. We, here at Lake Country Horsemen work to ensure that the public lands remain open for enjoying the horse rides. We also assist the various government and private organizations in their maintenance and management. We appreciate the active participation of the people in various fields which contribute to the beneficiary of the organization.

Events and activities Field trips and preliminary rides:

These are conducted by for the members and their families. These can last a period as short a single day to as long as the whole weekend. These trips may include various training opportunities and also the members may be asked to ride in the new areas. And depending on the opportunities, spontaneous trips also may be conducted.

Monthly meetings:

There are conducted in an informal atmosphere where the members gather along with their guests. This is the great opportunity for the members to get to know each other and also exchange information.

Social Events:

Various social events such as Christmas and Thanksgiving parties, auctions etc are organized. These may involve potluck dinners, rides and also the review meetings. Statewide competitions are also organized from time to time.

For Hire

o There is always a constant need of trainers specialized in horse riding required. o There is a temporary requirement of the Veterinary doctors. o People with good advertizing skills for promotional purposes.

Rules and regulations: The members are expected to be committed to the organization. They are expected to attend the regular meetings and field on time. Prior information should be provided by them in case of them not being able to attend any particular meeting or field trip. The members are expected to treat each other with respect and create a harmonious atmosphere when they are involved in the organizational activities.
